Improve the Appearance of Your Smile with Dental Bonding

If you have cracked, decayed, or imperfect teeth and you want to improve the appearance of your smile, we invite you to schedule a visit to Austin 3D Dental for dental bonding. Many of our patients visit our office for dental bonding because they want a solution to repair their teeth that’s fast and affordable. This is also a great option for patients whose teeth are still developing, and they want to repair their damaged teeth before opting for a more permanent solution such as veneers later on. At our dental practice, we are committed to helping you achieve the natural results you’re looking for.

What to Expect During Your Visit

During your visit, your dentist will examine your teeth and select a resin that matches the shade of your natural teeth, so you can receive seamless results. Your dentist will then etch the surface of your teeth to prepare it for the resin. A liquid is applied to help bond the resin to the etched surface. When the liquid is done setting, the resin will be applied and shaped to meet the desired results. Using a UV light, your dentist will harden the resin, and make any adjustments as needed before polishing off the tooth. Once the procedure is complete, no one will be able to tell the difference between the bonded tooth and your natural teeth.

Dental Bonding Maintenance

Dental bonding can last anywhere from three to five years. It’s important to know what you can do help your results last longer. Some ways you can maintain your dental bonding include:

  • Practice good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing regularly
  • Avoid chewing on hard foods and objects
  • Avoid foods that can stain the resin
